PEROXAN BP-Paste 50 PF 1 is a paste without phthalate used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with a tertiary amine accelerator. PEROXAN BP-Paste 50 PF 1 has been developped for the curing of putties, e.g. for car repair kits. PEROXAN BP-Paste 50 PF 1 shows excellent chemical and physical stability and is therefore very suitable for cartridge and tube filling. The rheological behavior of PEROXAN BP-Paste 50 PF 1 is that of a thixotropic long paste with a tendency of tailing. PEROXAN BP-Paste 50 PF 1 is available in different colors. The curing system PEROXAN BP-Paste 50 PF 1 in combination with an amine accelerator shows a very fast cure that is hardly influenced by humidity and fillers. Even at low temperatures a relatively good cure will be obtained. A disadvantage may be the yellow color and poor light resistance of the molded product. - Keep packaging tightly closed in a well ventilated place at indicated storage temperature. Keep away from reducing agents e.g. amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators, driers, metal soaps). Never weigh out in storage room. Oxidizing agent. Decomposes violently under the influence of heat or by contact with reducing agent. Never mix with accelerators.
