Identification & Functionality

Features & Benefits

Ready-to-Use Product Features
Features
  • WATERTITE WS produces, upon curing, a tough, seamless membrane which is virtually unaffected by water, ice, salt, fuel oil and acids.
  • WATERTITE WS has excellent adhesion to concrete and metal. As a component of the WATERTITE TDS System it shows excellent compatibility and intercoat adhesion to WATERTITE WS LV and PENNSEALER EE.

Applications & Uses

Applications
Compatible Substrates & Surfaces
Uses

Typical uses include Garage Decks, Pedestrian Walk-ways and Decks, Balconies, Mechanical Rooms and Industrial Floors.

Limitations

WATERTITE WS is not to be applied to surfaces which have loose material, dust, dirt, grease, oil or water.

Applications

The two components should be thoroughly mixed with a double blade agitor attached to a low speed drill for a period of not less than 7 minutes. Important: improper mixing will not allow the material to cure properly. Watertite ws may be applied with a trowel or a squeegee. When applied at the rate of 1 sq.M/l (50 sq.Ft./gal) an approximate 1 mm (40 mils) dry thickness is achieved.

Pot Life

After activation, 45 minutes at 70ºF.

Caution

Fresh, unmixed WEAR SURFACE resin compound contains xylene, a volatile and flammable solvent. Once activator has been mixed with resin, product will proceed to cure and cannot be stored and reused.
