PECTYL PREMIX Contains tylosin, a bacteriostatic antibiotic from the macrolide group, specially designed to be administered in food. Tylosin tartrate salt is characterized, unlike the phosphate salt, by having high bioavailability in the digestive tract, a necessary condition to generate optimal levels of tylosin in plasma and tissues.

  • Route of Administration: Oral, mixed in food.
  • Dosage: Birds: 10 to 20 mg/kg. Pigs: 5 to 10 mg/kg.
  • Indications of use: It is recommended in the therapeutic treatment of respiratory and digestive diseases of poultry and pigs, whose etiological agents are sensitive to tylosin, such as chronic respiratory disease caused by: Mycoplasma gallisepticum, M. hyorhinis, M. hyopneumoniae, M. agalactiae, M. synoviae, Staphylococcus spp, Corynebacterium spp, Clostridium spp, Neisseria spp, Actinoba cillus spp , infectious sinusitis of birds and for the prevention and treatment of swine dysentery.
