Paradigm Labs Resyn KLM is a thermoplastic polymer especially designed for textile finishing. It can be used on both natural and man-made fiber. It imparts firmness with flexibility. It gives body and weight and serves as an excellent non-curling agent on knits and back coating agent on wovens.

Applications

RESYN KLM should be applied on a regular pad as an anticurl on knits. Solution concentrations of 2-5% are generally adequate, but higher or lower amounts may be required to affect the desired hand and properties. RESYN KLM may also be applied on a kiss roller or in a spray system as a back coating on woven fabrics. A 20% to 30% solution is usually needed to provide proper pickup. Higher or lower amounts may be required depending on desired effects.

Precautions

May cause eye and skin irritation. Avoid breathing vapor or mist. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wash thoroughly after handling.

  • Eye contact check for and remove any contact lenses. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical attention immediately.
  • Skin contact in case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Clean shoes thoroughly before reuse. Get medical attention immediately.
  • Inhalation move exposed person to fresh air. Keep person warm and at rest. If not breathing, if breathing is irregular or if respiratory arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or oxygen by trained personnel. Get medical attention if adverse health effects persist or are severe.
  • Ingestion wash out mouth with water. Move exposed person to fresh air. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Get medical attention if adverse health effects persist or are severe. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
