Product Highlights

Pacer Minerals manages & operates the only actively-mined source for high quality potassium (potash) feldspar in the U.S. today; making Pacer a truly American company providing a quality American-made product.  Our products have been continuously mined in the Black Hills near Custer, South Dakota for over 80 years with abundant ore reserves identified to carry us well into the next century.

Our feldspar, sometimes referred to as “Custer Feldspar”, is dry processed from large deposits without the use of flotation chemicals.  Modernized screening & milling capabilities, as well as strict quality control measures, allow us to offer consistent particle sizes ranging from 30 mesh to 325 mesh powder.

Properties

Also used extensively as a performance-enhancing filler in Industrial & Architectural Coatings, Epoxies, Varnishes, Elastomers, Abrasives, Adhesives & Sealants; Pacer feldspar is fast becoming the preferred functional mineral for its physical properties:

  • Low oil absorption
  • High abrasion & traffic resistance
  • UV transparency & weather resistance
