In agricultural applications, Old Bridge Chemicals Copper Sulfate can be used as an ingredient in Bordeaux mixture sprays as a fungicide to control plant diseases and as a a micronutrient in animal feed. It is in industrial applications, Old Bridge Chemicals Copper Sulfate finds use as an ingredient in wood treating chemicals to protect against mildew and rotting, in the production of chemicals, dyes, and pigments, for pickling and plating and as a floatation reagent in recovery of zinc and lead in mining.

- Safe Handling
Copper Sulfate is acidic and causes severe eye irritation. It may be irritating to the skin and may cause sensitization reactions in certain individuals. Refer to Old Bridge Safety Data Sheet entitled "Copper Sulfate."

Storage & Handling

Copper Sulfate should be stored in a cool, dry place. Keep containers closed. Solutions of Copper Sulfate should be stored in tanks fabricated of Type 316 Stainless Steel, rubber-lined steel tanks or plastic tanks.
