NYACOL® APE3040 is patented colloidal antimony pentoxide dispersion formulated for use as a flame retardant synergist in halogen-containing vinyl ester and unsaturated polyester resins. APE3040 may be used with cobalt-MEKP type cure systems processed at room temperature. APE3040 can replace antimony trioxide in formulas containing bromine or chlorine.

BurnEx Plus A1588LP is an acidic surface material, which will absorb metallic ions and improve the properties of insulation and encapsulation polymers by effectively tying up these ionic impurities. NYACOL AL20 is designed specifically for use as a binder for high-temperature refractories and ceramics, providing a good balance of particle size, concentration and pH to enhance the binding characteristics while optimizing the economics of the binder system. NYACOL AL20 is an effective high temperature binder where colloidal silica binders fail. NYACOL AL20 is pseudo-Boehmite and have the chemical composition corresponding to (AlO(OH)) or Al2O3.H2O

NYACOL® A1550 is a water-based dispersions of nano-sized antimony pentoxide used with halogenated flame retardants to increase their efficiency when used in flame retardant treatments of materials such as textiles, nonwovens, adhesive latices, and coatings. NYACOL® A1550

NYACOL APE1540 flame retardant additive is a dispersion of nano-sized (colloidal) antimony pentoxide particles in a liquid isophthalic polyester resin. The oxide particles are nearly 1/100 the size of powdered antimony trioxide.

NexSil™ 85-40 is an alkaline dispersion of 40 - 60 nm colloidal silica at a 40% SiO2 concentration in water. The particles are negatively charged. The product can be used in paper, steel and precision polishing applications where large particle size colloidal silica is required. NexSil 85-40 is a good choice for sapphire polishing and other specialty wafer polishing applications. NexSil 85-40 provides good balance between removal rate and surface finish. Consult NYACOL® for recommendations on starting conditions.

NexSil 85NH4 is an ammonia-stabilized alkaline dispersion of 85 nm colloidal silica at 40% SiO2 concentration in water with low alkali metal levels. The particles are negatively charged. NexSil 85NH4 can be used in a wide variety of applications such as paper, steel and precision polishing applications where large particle size colloidal silica is required.

NexSil 125K-40 colloidal silica is a large particle product primarily intended as an abrasive for formulated polishing slurries. NexSil 125K-40 is based on high-purity colloidal silica and contains very low levels of trace impurities, minimizing the introduction of impurities in the polishing process.

NYACOL AL20SD is an alumina powder that is dispersible in either water or ethylene glycol. Its dispersibility in other polar solvents is subject to testing. It can be used in applications where a water-based system cannot be used.
