- Reduced moisture absorption: The bitumen or coal tar coatings or seals derived from clay-based emulsions can show water adsorption and re-emulsification tendency. Treatment of the emulsion or sealer with Redicote I-249 markedly reduces water adsorption and re-emulsification. The product is suitable for both anionic and cationic recipes.
- Improved durability: Sealcoats containing Redicote I-249 provide cured seals with improved results in the wet track abrasion test and other durability tests
- Easy to use: Liquid product soluble in water which can be incorporated into finished sealcoat.
- Unique additive for water repellency in sealcoat applications based on clay stabilized emulsions.
- Proven additive for sealcoat applications based on clay stabilized emulsions.
- Unique additive for water repellency in sealcoat applications based on clay stabilized emulsions.
- Stabilizer that enables the incorporation of clays and other reactive materials in anionic SS emulsions for sealcoats
