Bermocoll® CCM 879 should be admixed in dry form before the water is added. Due to its particle size Bermocoll® CCM 879 will dissolve rapidly after addition of water to the dry mix. At the temperatures above 250°C (480°F), charring of Bermocoll® CCM 879 will occur. At high temperatures and in contact with an open flame, Bermocoll® CCM 879 will burn slowly with the characteristics of cellulose.

Like many industrial powdery materials, cellulose ether dusts are combustible and can cause dust explosions. Dust formation must be avoided or kept to a minimum. Care should be taken to prevent ignition from heat, spark, open flames or hot surface.

BERMOCOLL CCM 879 is packed in polyethylene bag. Net weight 20 kg.  The empty bags can be recycled or burned. In unopened bags. BERMOCOLL CCM 879 can be stored for several years. In opened bags, the moisture content of BERMOCOLL CCM 879 will be influenced by the air humidity.
