- The product is also used as a dehydrating agent, a textile conditioner, a flame retardant and as a drilling fluid additive.

Pharmaceutical grade Potassium Acetate is stable for 3 years from date of production. Physical stability and appearance may change before the end of shelf-life if not stored single-stacked in closed original packaging, dry and at room temperature. Potassium Acetate is very hygroscopic.
