Certified for use in by US FDA - Not to exceed by weight of suture: 0.2% in glycolic – lactic acid polyester synthetic absorbable sutures or 0.3% in polydioxanone synthetic absorbable sutures for use in general and ophthalmic surgery, and 0.1% in poly (epsilon-caprolactone) absorbable sutures for use in general surgery, externally applied drugs and cosmetics - consistent with GMP.

D & C Violet 2 is Dye & It gives coloration through solution. For coloration this product, first pre-soluble in any suitable medium (light liquid paraffin, vegetable oil or compatible fragrances). This dispersion is then used for the coloration of final product.
