- Product Background
Natural source vitamin E exists in 2 forms: Tocotrienols and Tocopherol. The 2 forms are similar in that each contain 4 groups of isomers – Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. Their molecular structure differ by which Tocotrienol molecule has side chain with 3 double bonds, Tocopherol molecule do not have double bonds in its side chain molecular structure. Scientists have postulated this as a possible reason for Tocotrienols’ superior antioxidant functionality.
