Anticoccidial effect: The life cycle of Eimeria spp. became disrupted because it affects the asexual stage blocking the merozoites liberation.

Antibacterial effect: Interaction with nucleic acid inhibiting cell growth. Reduction of the adhesion of bacteria to the surface of the epithelial mucosa (inhibits the formation of fimbrilar structure) and inhibition in the production of enterotoxins.

Physiological effects: Reduction of intestinal motility (reduces the contractibility of smooth muscle), delaying intestinal transit. It strengthens the intercellular junctions in the intestinal epithelium.

Recommended in cases of intestinal disorders of bacterial and protozoa origin, as prevention before and after stressful situations (transport, vaccinations, manipulations). It helps to reduce the use of antibiotics, maintaining optimal production levels.
