- Manufacturing
The raw material for obtaining the precipitate of fodder of animal origin is maceration liquor obtained in the process of gelatin production, during the demineralization of a bone meal with hydrochloric acid. Maceration liquor is a slightly acidic solution containing mainly monocalcium phosphate and hydrochloric acid.
- Applications & Uses
It is used in animal husbandry as a veterinary supplement to conventional feed as premixes and compound feeds.
The precipitate is intended for balancing diets in terms of calcium and phosphorus and is also used for the enrichment of animal feed mixed with concentrates, silage, pulp, root crops.
