MOCOM Compounds TEDUR® L 9214-1 is a base polymer of polyphenylene sulfide with a filler/additive system of 45% glass fibers and 20% mineral. It is designed for highly stressed parts in the automotive and machinery market segments, and has special features of high stiffness. Pre-drying conditions include a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 130-140°C for 2-4 hours depending on moisture content. Processing includes injection molding with a melt temperature of 320-340°C and a mold temperature greater than 140°C.
