• The leaves of Psidium Guajava have long been used by local populations for the treatment of inflammatory conditions and infections. Guava Extract has demonstrated anti-microbial properties, particularly efficient against P. acnes.
• Ex vivo studies demonstrate that Guava Extract strongly increases the production of collagen in mature skin. Anti-glycation properties are also reported.
