ACT is a hybrid surface treatment consisting of vegetable derived amino acid, fatty acid metal soap and silane. Each component provides unique properties that synergistically make the ACT treatment one of the most effective treatments developed to date. (USP 6,482,441.) ACT treatment is applied to pigments and cosmetic substrates using Miyoshi America’s proprietary unique process, which allows for micronization and uniform surface treatment of individual particles.
