Sunscreen products containing mineral sunscreens, particularly those containing zinc oxide, consistently rate as the safest products on the market. Zinc oxide is stable in sunlight and offers a good balance of protection from both UVB and UVA ultraviolet radiation. MiyoSHADE Z Plus is a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen, surface treated with Miyoshi’s hybrid silicone that provides enhanced benefits such as broad spectrum coverage, smooth texture, and compatibility with many solvents

Many personal care formulations come in the form of liquid emulsions. Selecting the right type and quantity of surfactant is critical in developing stable emulsions and high performing formulations. MiyoSHADE Z PLUS is compatible with a wide variety of surfactants used to make W/O emulsions. Recommended surfactants and use levels are shown in the table below.
