MITO® ACRE™ is a renewable, sustainable, cornstarch-based additive that can be used to replace non-renewable fillers like mica. Much like MITO® E-GO™, MITO® ACRE™ added to a polymer acts as a scaffold, creating remarkable bonding and adherence. It is easy to use and integrate, with the same reactive dispersion as MITO® E-GO™. For added flexibility, it doesn’t alter the optical properties of polymers and can be processed with pigmentation. Designed for Compression molding applications for high-performance sporting goods, it boosts the performance of fiber-reinforced applications, resulting in significantly improved durability while maintaining a lighter weight. Secondary properties such as damping, thermal conductivity, and resistivity are also expected. This product is sold as a kit consisting of 1 gallon of Resin loaded with 1% of MITO® E-GO® and 1 quart of MITO® standard accompanying hardener.
