Distilled lime oil is colorless to slightly yellow / green in color and has a complex olfactory profile with citrusy, floral, balsamic and woody nuances which, as an important component of cola flavors, contribute to their aroma profile. For our customers we create extracts, fragrances and ingredients, which are mainly used in different areas of the flavor and fragrance industry. Distilled lime oil is obtained from the crushed fruits by steam distillation. Mexico is by far the most important country for the production of oil, with a market share of over 50 %. Peru is another important production country. The oil yield is around 4 kilograms of oil per 1000 kilograms of processed fruit. Every year between 500,000 and 1,000,000 kilograms of distilled lime oil are produced worldwide.

Miritz Orange Oil Sesquiterpeneless

Orange oil 5-fold is a concentrated form of the simple orange oil. The raw material is processed into a concentrated form by distillation or rectification. During gentle processing, further valuable components are obtained by fractionation in order to produce high-quality products for the flavor and fragrance industry. The 5-fold oil is only one of many ways of concentrating the essential citrus oils. In addition to rectification, technologies such as liquid-liquid extraction, chromatography, high-pressure CO2 extraction and molecular distillation can also be used to produce other premium-quality ingredients.

The less fragrant orange terpenes are a product produced in the course of the concentration of orange oil. Orange terpenes are particularly in demand because they are comparatively inexpensive, but can be used in a wide range of applications - for example in cleaning products.

The "cold-pressed" orange oil is obtained, literally, by cold-pressing the ripe fruit skins, which are produced in large quantities during juice production. Orange oil is by far the most widely produced essential oil in the world. World annual production is over 50.000 tons. The most important production location for orange oil is Brazil. Orange oil is one of the cheapest essential oils and is therefore frequently used in various areas of the flavor and fragrance industry. From this oil we mainly produce and process extracts that are used for flavoring beverages, dairy products, confectionery, ice creams and for perfuming body care and household products.
