Technical CMC 75a is divided into different types, which differ in the following parameters:
Purity: different salt contents
Viscosity: Measure of the viscosity of a fluid
Average degree of substitution: Average proportion of the etherified hydroxyl groups per polymer building block of cellulose (anhydroglucose) by a carboxymethyl group.The parameters of the respective type described above determine the field of application, which is very versatile due to the properties and functions resulting from it.
