"Patrick A. Brown of Fremont, Michigan founded Mighty Lube Systematic Lubrication, Inc in 1981. In 1985, Patrick used his extensive knowledge of conveyor lubrication to design a link counter lubrication unit. With this new system applied lubricant to conveyor components based on run cycles. His invention significantly changed the way conveyors were lubricated. Prior to this, most lubricators were simply run by timers or with on/off switches. This new lubrication system allowed for precise and consistent automatic lubrication of conveyor chain pins and trolley bearings.In 1987, a programmable digital board was developed. This advancement allowed for greater control and automation in the manufacturing industry. Up to this point, all the Mighty Lube lubricators were considered central lubrication systems. Central systems have a reservoir/pump at the floor level and lubricator head units are mounted on the conveyor line. Central lubrication systems are optimal for most large manufacturing facilities with multiple lines.

In Mighty Lube’s research, they discovered a need for conveyor lubrication systems in smaller facilities. Small plants with only a couple of lines didn’t need a large, centralized system. So in 1989, Mighty Lube created and patented the self-contained lubrication unit. This unit design includes a small reservoir and lubrication unit, which are combined and mounted as one unit on the conveyor.

Progressing from the digital board in 1992, Mighty Lube introduced a microprocessor board. Microprocessors can be programmed to precisely control the lubrication cycles as well as lubricant amounts. This new technology offered a versatile design with additional ports for lubrication options."

Mighty Lube® Type MX Lubricants are heavy duty, anti-wear lubricants, which have been formulated to withstand the most extreme industrial conveyor applications. The use of the Mighty Lube Systematic Lubrication will result in a conveyor system that is protected against wear and corrosion over temperature ranges of -55°F to 550°F.

Mighty Lube® Type ML is a heavy duty, thin film, anti-wear lubricant formulated to protect against wear and corrosion in temperature ranges of -65°F to 500°F.

Mighty Lube® Type ML

Mighty Lube® Type GPC is a pure synthetic, water soluble high temperature conveyor lubricant specially formulated for the lubrication of chains, rollers and bearings of automotive paint line conveyors and other mechanical systems where water solubility and paint compatibility are essential. This product contains no silicone and will not adversely affect paint finishes.

WearMaster® KG 453 is the ideal grease for complete corrosion control in areas of high salt and chemical contamination. The high drop point and good E.P. characteristics also make this a high performance multi-purpose grease.

Mighty Lube® Type 38 is a unique synthetic lubricant designed to lubricate bearings, chains, slides, and gears in industrial applications where air temperatures often exceed 500°F. They are ashless fluids and do not contain residue forming solids. In addition, Mighty Lube® Type T38 contains proprietary ashless esters to make it suitable in applications like chains and bearings that run at high temperatures. Type T38 will not leave particles behind at high temperatures.

Mighty Lube® Type CNS Heavy* is a specially designed thin film, anti-wear penetrating lubricant. Specially formulated as a non-staining lubricant, Type CNS Heavy Non Stain Lubricant uses synthetic ester based fluids that provide a semi wet, thin film lubricant which will work at ambient temperatures up to 500°F. Type CNS Heavy Non Stain lubricant will break down other inferior lubricants or carbons and help clean the conveyor.

Mighty Lube® Type CSM-2 is a heavy duty, anti-wear lubricant, which have been formulated to withstand the most extreme industrial conveyor applications. The use of the Mighty Lube Systematic Lubrication will result in a conveyor system that is protected against wear and corrosion over temperature ranges of 450°F with limited protection up to 1250°F.

Mighty Lube® Type CSM-2

Mighty Lube® Type MX-HT Lubricants is a heavy duty, anti-wear lubricant, which has been formulated to withstand the most extreme industrial conveyor applications. The use of Type MX-HT lubricant will result in a conveyor system that is protected against wear and corrosion over temperature range exceeding 450°F with limited protection up to 1200°F.

Mighty Lube® Type CCL Lubricant is a specially designed thin film, anti-wear penetrating lubricant. Type CCL uses a penetrating solvent / cleaner, with an attractive light citrus aroma. Specially formulated for the coating industry, Type CCL uses synthetic ester based fluids that provide a semi-wet, thin film lubricant which will work at temperatures up to 575°F. Type CCL lubricant will break down other inferior lubricants or carbons and help clean the conveyor.
