Mid South Chemical Co., Inc. is a manufacturer and reseller of chemical products to the water treatment industry. These products are used in the treatment of boiler and cooling water, closed loop systems, municipal drinking water, industrial waste water and specialty treatment formulations. Mid South also sells intermediates to blenders and manufacturers as we represent name brand products that are typically used in the water treatment industry. It is our objective to meet the needs of both large and small water treatment applications by providing a quality product line that is packaged in multiple size containers, bulk and tanker quantities. Mid South offers toll blending, private labeling, and customized services if needed.

Boiler and cooling water products have always been the “backbone” for Mid South Chemical. These products are sold under the Mid South label and are also used by many distributor companies under their own private label. Mid South works with distributors to produce finished products that meet their particular requirements. A broad group of Mid South Chemical products are NSF NONFOOD approved for use in the meat and poultry industry. These products are listed in the NSF NONFOOD Compounds White Book for quick reference by plant personnel.

Mid South Chemical ScaleTrol is an industrial inhibitor designed to prevent the formation of water born scales in applications such as cooling, oil field and waste remediation systems. ScaleTrol is composed of organic inhibitor components that increase the solubility of inorganic salts.

MCT 5610LM is a multipurpose organic corrosion and scale inhibitor designed for use in industrial and heavy duty air conditioning cooling systems. It is composed of ingredients that are biodegradable and contains no zinc or heavy metal components. MCT 5610LM functions by forming a microscopic inhibitive film on the metal surface that acts as a barrier to prevent or minimize corrosion. MCT 5610LM also contains effective polymeric antifoulants and sequestrants to help remove metallic oxide silt and dead microbiological material to maintain a cleaner and more efficiently operating system.

MCT 5609 is a multipurpose corrosion/scale inhibitor product that is designed for use in medium and small industrial cooling water and heavy-duty air condition cooling systems.

MCT 514 cooling water treatment provides superior corrosion inhibition to multi-metal systems operating at high or low temperatures and is recommended for diesel and other internal combustion engines, hot water heating systems, chilled water circuits and other closed systems containing ferrous and nonferrous metals. Application of MCT 514 in engine jacket cooling water precludes the necessity for pre-softening or de-mineralizing these waters. Prevents deposits, scale, sludge and resultant losses in heat transfer or mechanical efficiency caused by high mineral waters.

MCT 510 cooling water treatment provides superior corrosion inhibition to multi-metal systems operating at high or low temperatures and is recommended for diesel and other internal combustion engines, hot water heating systems, chilled water circuits and other closed systems containing ferrous and nonferrous metals. Application of MCT 510 in engine jacket cooling water precludes the necessity for pre-softening or de-mineralizing these waters. MCT 5617 is a heavy duty scale inhibitor for calcium carbonate, which includes yellow metal protection and crystal modifying agents with phosphonates.

MCT 5611-HM is a multipurpose corrosion/scale inhibitor product that is designed for use in industrial cooling water and heavy-duty air condition cooling systems. MCT 5611-HM will effectively control and prevent scale and corrosion in heat exchange equipment thereby keeping heat transfer surfaces clean and efficient in operation. Also, the product contains effective polymeric antifoulants and stabilizers to help remove troublesome foulants such as metallic oxides, silt, and dead microbiological growths.
