Located East of Manchester in the UK, Micropol is a long established company providing a comprehensive service to the plastics industry for over 50 years. We pride ourselves in working closely with our customers to adapt materials to specific needs, while developing new grades of material through partnerships with customers old and new on a global basis. Production of rotational molding powders was established on-site in the early 1970's, providing a service to our own rotational molding sister company, before expanding the manufacturing entity to extend the service to the industry in general. To this day these facilities, combined with our advanced technical laboratory, give us the edge in development by enabling us to use our own range of molding machines with a range of proprietary tools to ensure that the quality of the products is right before leaving the premises. With our commitment not to substitute any substandard imitation grades, we continue to supply rotational molding materials based on the best prime polymers available. To add to our range of rotational molding products, Microlink technology is constantly being developed to add extra toughness, durability and chemical resistance to conventional rotational molding materials.

Microlink XL is a crosslinkable polyethylene is a material that is produced from standard polyethylene by a chemical process which allows the molder to produce, on conventional rotational molding equipment, finished products with much improved performance properties.

Micropol Microcoat D is based on a specially selected Low Density Polyethylene. This grade has been developed to give maximum processing efficiency and covering power when used for fluidisedbed dip-coating. Microcoat D is available in all standard colors.

Micropol L20 is a rotational molding powder based on a conventional polyethylene formulation designed to produce moldings with a high gloss finish and outstanding toughness. This material has been established for many years as an outstanding low density polyethylene powder for Rotational Molding.

Micropol E28-05 is a random ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. This grade has been designed for cast / blown film applications where a high degree of flexibility is required combined with the physical cohesive strength properties which render it also suitable for hot-melt adhesive applications. Available in granular or powder form.

Micropol E2020 is a rotational molding powder, based on a random ethylene-vinyl acetate co-polymer of high clarity. This grade has been designed for rotational molding applications, where a high degree of flexibility is required combined with the physical properties and processing behavior of a tough thermoplastic polymer. This material can also be used to produce foams and cable compounds.

Micropol E2020

Micropol Microcoat H6 is a micro-ground High Density Polyethylene powder. This grade gives maximum processing efficiency and covering power when used for fluidised bed dip-coating, and has been developed for more demanding applications where improved hardness, chemical and heat resistance are required. Microcoat H6 is available ex-stock in Natural, Black and White. All our materials can be color matched to your specification.
