Optimin® Cu 15 is the product resulting from the chelation of a soluble inorganic copper salt with amino acids and/or partially hydrolyzed protein. When used as a commercial feed ingredient, it must be declared as the specific metal proteinate: i.e., Copper Proteinate. Optimin Copper 15% is a nutritional feed additive for livestock, fish and companion animal diets and effectively supports the copper status of the animal.
