The MicroTalc® is a magnesium silicate mineral with a monoclinic crystal structure. It is characterized by its softness and platy or lamellar physical structure. When ground into a fine powder, this lamellar property gives a smooth, soapy feel. Our MicroTalc® range offers very high dry brightness (whiteness) and acid resistance, heat stability, electrical resistance (dielectric strength), UV resistance and ease of dispersion in dry powder formulations.
