Menzolit® CarbonSMC™ 1100

menzolit® CarbonSMC™ 1100 is a sheet molding compound based on vinylester resin, it’s Carbon fiber reinforced. In case of fire the product doesn’t melt, neither does it form droplets. The material is molded in heated steel molds on hydraulic presses. It is highly recommended to work with chrome plated tools. For molding and machining, dust proof electrical circuits have to be used (IP54). The product contains no halogens or heavy metals nor any candidates from the REACH SVHC list.

Form of Supply: menzolit® CarbonSMC™ 1100 is produced in a width of 500 mm.It is supplied on coil-piles holding about 40 kg. In any case a styrene barrier film wrapping is being used. Different packaging is possible after consulting our sales department. Available in black color.
