Cosmoactive Hydroloc is an oily active ingredient that contains unsaponifiable molecules. These molecules are naturally present in sunflower seed oil, and they are considered noble molecules due to their properties.
The moisturizing and soothing properties of CosmoActive Hydroloc are directly linked with its ability to enhance AQP3 gene expression in human keratinocytes (In-vitro study).
The aquaporin-3 (AQP-3) is one among the family of membrane proteins that form water channels across cell membranes to transport water within the epidermis. The more of AQP-3, the better the transport of moisture in the skin.

Unique Active Ingredient That Strengthens Skin's Barrier Function:
According to in vitro testing, Cosmoactive Hydorloc ® has the unique ability to selectively stimulate the synthesis of key lipids, allowing them to be present and effective in reinforcing the epidermis barrier function. Cosmoactive hydroloc upregulates the APQ3 gene expression level in HaCat cells.
