Lyckeby Keep is a speciality starch range used for production of spray-dried products. ​The speciality starches in the Lyckeby Keep range are designed for production of spray-dried products and cover broad range of applications.


Lyckeby Keep

Lyckeby Potex and Potex Crown is a fiber made from potatoes. Potex Crown is more finely ground version of Potex. Potex and Potex Crown are produced from the cell walls of potatoes via our own patented process. About 100 kilograms of potatoes give one kilogram of Potex. No chemicals are added during this process. As Potex is a pure and natural product, it is declared simply as potato fiber.

Lyckeby Swely Star is a group of well performing modified starches designed to give a pulpy appearance in food applications. The products are based on potato starch and come in three different grades depending on the required process tolerance.

Lyckeby Trecomex OSA has excellent emulsion stabilizing properties and can replace egg partly or completely in mayonnaise and dressings, making it allergen-free and vegan. Only a low dosage is required which makes trecomex osa very cost-efficient.

Lyckeby CB is a product range of modified starches and dextrin for clear coated products such as French fries and wedges. The Lyckeby CB cook-up starches provide texture and crispness to the French fry, and in combination with our dextrin ensure a high quality crispy coating with extended holding time. The Lyckeby CB cold swelling starch provides batter viscosity and ensures a stable pick up during production. For clean label clear coat, Lyckeby Careful CB products is recommended.

Lyckeby Swely Gel consist of modified cold swelling potato starches which are high performing in many different applications, whether we are talking about mild, medium or harsh process conditions. The Swely Star products provide a pleasant mouth feel and a neutral taste. The Swely Gel starch products are made cold swelling by a special technique that provides a high viscosity and correct consistency. We offer Swely Gel products with different grades and particle size.

Lyckeby Careful Clean Label Starch is a range of products designed to meet high expectations on function, appearance and taste. The Careful technology uses less chemicals and energy during processing which imply products with lower carbon footprint. The product range contain products based on both waxy maize and potato. Lyckeby Careful clean label starch range serves a broad range of demanding processes in different applications. They are excellent to use in fermented dairy products, ready meals, soups, sauces, processed meat and clear coating..

The Lyckeby Gelling starches for low fat spread are specially developed to suit the process conditions for this type of products. The starches have a low warm viscosity, that facilitates the production, and provide texture and stability during cooling. The gelling starches provide a rich mouth feel and good spread-ability properties to the low fat spread. The Lyckeby Gelling starch range is potato-based and free from GMO and allergens. In this range of Lyckeby Gelling starches, also Lyckeby Volume C is included.
