Carbopol® Silk 100 polymer is a crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymerized in a toxicologically preferred cosolvent system. It provides excellent suspending capability and stabilizes insoluble conditioning agents commonly used in 2-in-1 shampoos. At low concentrations, it offers excellent flow properties and exhibits synergistic behavior with salt. Designed to optimize product performance at the lowest possible cost, Carbopol® Silk 100 polymer allows for a reduction in surfactant levels and conditioning agents. It also enables the incorporation of non-silicone-based conditioning ingredients, particularly natural oils.

Fixate™ Superhold polymer is a liquid latex emulsion polymer that provides a touchable, stiff hold to hair styling formulations. This polymer can be easily removed with shampoo and allows for easy distribution throughout the hair.

Pemulen™ polymers are high molecular weight, crosslinked copolymers..  They are primarily used to form stable oil-in-water emulsions.  Pemulen polymers contain both hydrophobic and hydrophilic portions within the molecule. The hydrophobic portion of the polymer adsorbs at the oil phase and the hydrophilic portion swells in the water forming a gel network around the oil droplets to provide exceptional emulsion stability.

Pemulen™ 1621 Polymer is a moderately crosslinked, hydrophobically-modified, acrylic acid copolymer powder. It is designed to form stable oil-in-water emulsions at low use levels. It is a cost-effective polymer for medium viscosity emulsions recommended for use in automotive care, polishes and protectants. It is also suitable for use in anti-icing fluids.

Pemulen™ TR-2 polymeric emulsifier is a similar high-molecular-weight, crosslinked copolymer to Pemulen™ TR-1. It is also designed to create stable and mild oil-in-water emulsions at low usage levels. However, it provides low-viscosity emulsions, particularly suitable for skin care applications using a spray mechanism.
