It shows moderate electrolyte tolerance.

Carbopol® Ultrez 30 polymer is a white powder consisting of a cross-linked homopolymer of polyacrylic acid polymerized in a toxicologically preferred cosolvent system. It offers good electrolyte tolerance and high thickening performance over a wide pH range. It provides a rich and distinct sensory experience in challenging skin care formulations. Carbopol® Ultrez 30 polymer enables formulators to achieve desired rheological and esthetic properties even in the presence of electrolytes or acidic actives required for consumer products. Its high electrolyte tolerance and broad pH compatibility make it ideal for formulating products with botanical extracts, water-soluble salts, and acidic ingredients such as alpha-hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, or organic acid preservatives at pH levels as low as 4.0–4.5.

It can also be used in bath and body oils to mitigate oiliness and contribute to blooming effects. Hydramol™ PGPL ester is soluble in oils and effective in reducing the greasiness of heavy formulations. It is also recommended for use in hand sanitizer gels.

It is low in color and odor and is suitable for use in clear or pearlescent bath or shower products, shampoos, hand soaps, and other personal care cleansers. This surfactant is known for producing copious, rich, and dense foam. It can be formulated with other secondary surfactants to create high-viscosity formulations with excellent foaming characteristics. It is included on the Safer Chemical Ingredient List (SCIL) and certified under the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Mass Balance supply chain protocol.

This polymer also provides anti-pollution properties, protecting against particle adhesion and facilitating easier removal during rinsing. Additionally, it enhances curl snap and curl memory.

It offers various attributes, including leaving a soft and silky feel for the hair as well as a smooth and velvety feel for the skin. Chemoryl™ LG Surfactant is a naturally derived non-ionic surfactant. It generates exceptional foam for a nonionic surfactant, comparable with foam obtained using conventional anionic surfactants. Used as a co-surfactant, it can reduce the total active ingredient content of foaming formulations without altering their performance and is ideal for a wide variety of personal care applications. It is compatible with all classes of surfactants, including cationics. It can be used in conjunction with difficult-to-thicken surfactants, such as sulfosuccinates, to enhance viscosity buildup and also help increase foam volume in low-foaming formulations. Great for use in alkyl sulfate and alkyl ether sulfate-free formulations as a primary or secondary surfactant. Also ideal for use in shampoos, bath gels, bubble baths, and other cleansing applications.

Novethix™ HC220S Polymer is a partially nature-derived associative viscosity builder designed for use in surfactant systems. It shows broad compatibility and excellent clarity with many types of surfactants, including cationics. It is suitable for thickening mild surfactant systems, dilutable concentrate systems as well as disinfectant cleaners containing cationic biocides. Novethix™ HC220S Polymer is not compatible with lipase.

Schercoquat™ IAS-PG quaternary compound is a highly concentrated liquid quaternary of an isostearic substituted amidoamine. It is an extremely effective conditioner, especially in clear hair rinses and skin conditioning lotions. The presence of the amido group makes it an outstanding quaternary with enhanced substantivity and improved water solubility.
