Lockhart Chemical Company roots go back to the late 1800’s when Charles Lockhart entered Pennsylvania’s oil industry. After nearly a century in the steel and aluminum business, in 1982, The Lockhart Company purchased a 13 acre chemical manufacturing site in Michigan which became Lockhart Chemical Company. Today, Lockhart manufactures and globally markets a wide range of additives for formulating rust preventives, corrosion inhibitors, emulsifier packages and other processing additives for metalworking and greases.

Counter Rust 140 is a hard water tolerant, low-foaming water-based corrosion inhibitor designed to protect all ferrous metals and some non-ferrous metals at low treat rates.

Lubristay 310 is a water dispersible lubricity additive, emulsifier and coupling agent for metalworking fluids. It is comprised of vegetable oil and triglyceride esters.

Counter Rust CA-407 is an oil-soluble, highly overbased calcium sulfonate with NSF HX-1 approval.

Counter Rust 7165 is thin-film, water displacing rust preventive that provides excellent protection against salt and humid atmospheres when formulated in petroleum solvent and/or oil solutions.

Counter Rust 7020 is a sodium sulfonate based emulsifiable rust preventive containing some barium sulfonate.

Counter Rust T-18 is a very cost effective water soluble corrosion inhibitor containing 7% elemental boron for ferrous metals. It is completely soluble in water and dispersible in oil. It is compatible with most amides and salts of mono and di-carboxylic acids.

Counter Rust 855 is a cost effective, thin-film, water displacing rust preventive based on barium sulfonate. Counter Rust 855 provides excellent protection against salt and humid atmospheres when formulated in petroleum solvent and/or oil solutions.

Coolsurf DILO-11 is a superamide formed by the reaction of lard oil and saturated fats derived from lard oil with Diisopropanolamine (DIPA). Coolsurf DILO-11 is free from ethanolamine.
