Libranol series of alkonolamides are a range of non-ionic surfactants that are highly compatible with most surfactant types. The compound is a viscous liquid which produces moderate foam, as well as possessing wetting and thickening properties. Alkanolamines commonly possess applications for the personal care industry, in products such as shampoo and other soaps; as well as a variety of cleaning products in the household, industrial, and institutional cleaning sectors.

Libranox series of amine oxides are excellent detergents and cleaners for global cleaning industries and sectors. The series can be applied to cleaning products, they perform as excellent detergents, as well as providing excellent foam boosting and foam stabilising properties. When used in combination with anionics like sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLES), the detergency effect of the formulation is increased. The products are also extensively used with both sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide to produce bleach based products. The dense, stable foam produced can be used in the formulation of high alkalinity cleaning compounds.

Libraphos series of phosphate esters from Libra Speciality Chemicals are anionic surfactants, suitable for use in a wide range of applicants and industries. The Libraphos series are 100% active anionic surfactants and are based on alcohols, aromatic ethoxylates or alcohol ethoxylates. Libraphos phosphate esters are manufactured by either a polyphosphoric acid route giving predominantly mono esters or by a phosphorous pentoxide route to give predominantly di-esters. These phosphate esters can then be neutralised to achieve a variety of salts. The Libraphos series of surfactants may be used in a number of applications due to their stability at high temperatures or in acidic or alkaline conditions. These attributes offer significant advantages over other surfactants.

Libramul IPA is a clear yellow-to-amber liquid product that contains isopropylamine dodecylbenzene sulphonate. As an anionic surfactant, it exhibits compatibility with both other anionic and nonionic surfactants. This versatile amine salt serves as an effective emulsifying agent for various substances, including organic solvents, waxes, and mineral oils. It is particularly well-suited for producing emulsion degreasers and kerosene-based hand-cleaning gels.

Libraquat PQ7 by Libra Speciality Chemicals, is a Polycationic copolymer of acrylamide and diallyldimethylammonium chloride. Polyquaterium is the International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients designation for several polycationic polymers that are used in the personal care industry. Libraquat is a cationic water soluble copolymer with excellent cleaning abilities within personal care (specifically, hair care). Our PQ7 is a very effective polymer within its applications and Libra’s technical department is able to ensure the highest quality of product that matches specifications. The relatively small amounts of PQ7 required within formulation make this a highly efficient and cost effective product.
