Lechler S39080 Glasstop Bucciato Versilia is a 2 Component semi-glossy polyurethane topcoat with orange peel effect. It has good weather resistance. Especially suitable in the yachting field to hide some substrates’ defects, it is used for boat internal surfaces or for painting of the deck and superstructure.

Substrate Preparation and Application Parameters

Substrate Preparation:

  • Stoppani polyurethane undercoats: Dry sanding with P 280-320 paper
  • Stoppani epoxy primers: Dry sanding with P 280-320 paper
  • Old thermosetting coatings: Carry out a compatibility test by painting a small part of the hull or by doing a solvent test. In case of softening or matting dry sand with P 280-320 paper and remove the old coating completely.

Application: 

  • By brush, roller or spray with traditional spray gun or HVLP.
  • Relative humidity: max. 80%
  • Spray Temperature: 10 - 35°C
  • Substrate temperature: 5°C greater than dew point
