- Lansurf CO40 is a nonionic surfactant produced from the ethoxylation of castor oil. This product offers good emulsification, wetting, detergency and lubricity. This product also has the advantage of being of low toxicity and has good food contact approval.
- Lansurf CO40 is used in many application areas, typical examples being:
- Textile : Good fiber lubricant with good detergency
- Agrochemicals : Used in balance pair emulsifier systems
- Phenolic Foam : Used as a foaming agent in phenolic foam systems.

Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Lansurf CO40 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination. This material can separate on standing and at low temperatures. May require agitation and warming prior to use.
