- Combining low irritating power and good foaming properties, EUCAROL® B/M is an anionic surfactant especially designed for very mild formulations (liquid soaps, intimate detergents, baby bath-foam, make-up removal lotions).
- EUCAROL® B/M is suitable for the manufacture of nonaqueous products such as bath dispersible oils, in combination with other 100% active surfactants like ALPICARE 123/3.
- EUCAROL® B/M can also be used as secondary surfactant in water-based formulations to improve the mildness of the formulation. For this specific application, the following formulation guidelines should be followed:
- Heat the water phase up to 40°C to allow the complete and fast dissolution of EUCAROL® B/M
- Use a pH adjuster to neutralize the surfactant acidity; neutralization can be done straight after the addition of EUCAROL® B/M to the water phase or at the end of the formulation process, adjusting pH to the desired value
