It is found in young tissues and is important in energy and reproductive processes, in reactions of synthesis, demolition and transformation. It stimulates the development and production quality. It favors rooting. The lack of phosphorus causes the development of weak plants with hard growth. Magnesium intervenes in the processes controlled by auxin; it plays a fundamental role at the level of the plants’ respiration; it constitutes a structural part in the chlorophyll molecule and it is therefore essential in photosynthesis; it increases plant resistance to cold by raising the threshold of tolerance; it intervenes in the processes constituting the pectin and the enzymes; it has a positive effect on fruit set of crops and on quality-quantity level of production. Zinc, which is in chelated and available form here, intervenes indirectly in the process of natural synthesis of auxin (indole acetic acid, or IAA); it controls processes of respiration; it participates in several enzyme systems related to the metabolism of proteins; it promotes the development and activity of nitrogen fixation; it participates in the development processes of the plant and in the production of vitamin C; it increases the frost resistance of plants. Zinc is characterized by low mobility in the plant and also in the soil, especially in situations of water lack, so that zinc deficiency physiopathies are frequent. Zimag P can be used both in foliar application and in fertigation.
