- Application
K -DPGB 50 is also an efficient plasticizer in acrylic latex caulk formulations. Acrylic Latex caulks containing K-DPGB 50 are stable with the cured caulk showing good adhesion characteristics. K-DPGB 50 is a high solvating polyvinyl chloride plasticizer displaying utility in plastisol and dry blended vinyl formulations. Inherent excellent solvating characteristics allow fast, lower temperature processing of vinyl/co-vinyl compositions. After incorporated, has excellent stain and extraction resistance to aliphatic solvents. Its wide range of compatibility with polymeric substances suggests use potential in other applications like EVA/PVAc water based adhesives. As a solvent, diluent and fixative by the perfumers.
