Wintergreen Oil

Wintergreen is a natural extract from Gaultheria procumbens, which is produced from the steam distillation of the leaves. The resulting oil contains a very high concentration of Methyl Salicylate, which has analgesic and anti-bacterial properties. Methyl Salicylate is also found in insecticides and repellents and is similar in chemical composition to Aspirin (Acetyl Salicylic Acid).
