CONCENTRATION OF USE
Olivoil Surfacant is made of lipo-polypeptides concentrated at 30% in water solution. It can be used in few potential ways: .
• Primary surfactant @ 10.0 ÷ 30.0 %
• Secondary surfactant @ 02.0 ÷ 10.0 % .
• concentration of use as emollient/co-emulsifier in leave on applications @ 02.0 ÷ 5.0 %
RINSE OFF APPLICATIONS

pH OF USE
Olivoil Surfactant is made of lipo-polypeptides formed by condensed polypeptides and fatty acids. The pH of the formula needs to be set depending on the final output desired:
• 5.5 ÷ 8.0 if OS is used at concentration ≥ 5.0 % and a transparent formulation is required .
• 4.5 ÷ 8.0 if OS is used as secondary surfactant at concentration ≤ 5.0 % if the final formulation will be opacified, pearled or is in creamy form

Evaluation by score of sensorial parameters, following a 5 day treatment on 20 subjects after using face cleansers containing 3% a.m. of Potassium olivoyl hydrolyzed wheat protein vs 3% a.m. of Sodium cocoyl hydrolyzed wheat protein
FOAMING TESTS
Test carried out through Ross Miles variant test at 20°C using water with 15°fH hardness. The surfactants were used at a concentration of 1% a.m.

Slight odor intensification and darkening are possible during longer storage; this does not affect the quality of the raw material.
