Kaesler Nutrition is a company with a long tradition in agriculture. Because as early as 1932, Heinz Lohmann and Paul Wesjohann started an agricultural trading company. At that time, Heinz Lohmann founded the German fish meal factory in Cuxhaven, which was later to be a cornerstone of the later group of companies. At the same time, Paul Wesjohann started trading in hatching eggs.

In 1967 Lohmann Tiernahrung (LTE) was founded. A year later, the animal health division was added to the portfolio. Lohmann Animal Health was formed in 1996 as a merger of LTE and the veterinary division of the pharmaceutical company TAD.

In October 2014, Lohmann returned to its origins and since then has focused on the core competencies in animal nutrition in the agricultural sector and founded the new and independent Lohmann Animal Nutrition GmbH."

Avixanthin 100  is a stabilized and microgranulated red pigment containing 10% canthaxanthin for use in poultry and aquaculture. It is known from the scientific literature that canthaxanthin like many other carotenoids performs several important biological functions in addition to coloring. Avixanthin 100 is a Canthaxanthin is a red carotenoid that occurs naturally in mushrooms and algae, but also in wild birds. Canthaxanthin has been produced industrially for more than 40 years based on the natural model.

Enzy Carboplus is a naturally heat-stable combination of xylanase and β-glucanase for poultry and pigs. Approved in the EU for fattening chickens, pullets, turkeys and piglets, ENZY Carboplus improves feed conversion and thus effectively reduces feed costs with constant animal performance. ENZY Carboplus is one of the few NSPase products that is heat-stable up to 90°C even without a coating.

Cuxavit Beta Carotene is the precursor of vitamin A, which is essential for many physiological functions in the body, such as vision, epithelial membrane development, fertility, embryonic development and the immune system. Regardless of its role as a pro-vitamin A, β-carotene has an important impact on fertility, including by stimulating progesterone synthesis. In addition, β-carotene protects the embryo from damage caused by free radicals thanks to its antioxidant effect.

Loxidan products show significant synergistic effects, as they contain antioxidants with different spectrums of activity, which complement each other in their effects. By combining primary and secondary antioxidants, fewer antioxidants are needed overall to achieve the same, if not better, effectiveness. This makes Loxidan more effective and versatile, both directly in compound feed and in its preliminary stages.

Kaesler Animal Nutrition has optimized the technical production process of this special formulation in order to ensure the best possible supply of L-carnitine to ruminants. Carneon 20 Rumin-Pro  is the ideal supplement for cows in the high lactation phase.  Carneon 20 Rumin-Pro  helps milk cows to overcome the negative energy balance of the first phase of lactation by stimulating the fat and carbohydrate metabolism. Alleviating the metabolic burden promotes animal health and fertility. Carneon 20 Rumin-Pro therefore makes a lasting contribution to higher lifetime production and longevity in dairy cows.

Noovista Go L-Valine can be used without supplementation with L-valine, many feed rations for piglets, broilers and for high-productivity sows during lactation are deficient in valine. Only the addition of L-valine makes it possible to optimize feed rations with low crude protein levels, taking into account the ideal protein. As a result, the crude protein content in feed can be reduced by 1 to 2 percentage points for piglets and by 0.5 to 1 percentage point for broilers.
