JANA – Jubail Chemical Industries Company situated in the Industrial City of Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an affiliates of Nama Chemicals and produces a range of Epoxy Resins – Liquid, Solution and Solid forms for a variety of applications. From a modest beginning in 1999, JANA today has the capability of producing 120,000 Metric Tons of Epoxy resin per year. These are produced under the license of Huntsman Advanced Materials, USA (originally obtained from Ciba-Geigy, Switzerland ). JANA is the only producer of Epoxy resins in the Middle East and Africa. JANA enjoys leadership position in these markets which has been possible thanks to its understanding of the needs of its customers. Jana is currently the market leader in these across the Middle East and Africa.

JANA markets their epoxy resins under two brand names – Araldite® and Razeen®. The Araldite® brand is over 50 years old and very well known globally. Araldite® resins are produced and sold across all of the territories covered by the license in the Middle East and Africa where Jana is the sole authorized supplier of the licensed grades. JANA also sells under its own registered brand name, Razeen®.

Razeen® is a registered trademark of JANA and product types under this brand name were launched in the market in the beginning of 2004. The products made under this trademark have been very well received and accepted by customers. Razeen® has the same quality like Araldite® and is manufactured under the license of Huntsman. Currently, all the products manufactured and supplied to the customer as Razeen® are absolute look-alike matching products with the Araldite® range of products.

Araldite® GZ7071X75 is a typical type 1 epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A as solvent cut 75% in Xylene. The resin is similar to solid resin Araldite® GT 7071.

Araldite® GT 7071 N is a low melting solid unmodified epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A. with narrow molecular weight distribution. Araldite® GT 7071 N can be added to alkyd/amino stoving enamels to enhance their quality and to powder coatings e.g. to improve their flow.

Razeen® LR 1150 is a general purpose unmodified medium viscosity epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A. Razeen® LR 1150 yields excellent mechanical properties and resistance to chemicals, which can be modified within wide limits by using various hardeners and fillers. Razeen® LR 1150 is meets the relevant requirements of the FDA listing.

Araldite® GT 6084 is an unmodified solid epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A.

Razeen® SL 4072X75 is a typical type 2 epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A as solvent cut 75% in Xylene. The resin is similar to solid resin Razeen® SR 5072 in performance.

Razeen® LR 1110 is an unmodified liquid epoxy resin similar to Razeen® LR 1100 but with lower viscosity and higher purity.
