BONDEX® A-117

Bondex® A-117 is based on Acrylic Polymer Emulsion. It has very high tack, good Shear Strength with instant bond & non-migrating properties, due to which the long term durability is better. It is mainly used for B.O.P.P. Packaging Tapes / OPP carton sealing tape making. It gives peel strength of min 500 – max 750 gm/inch at 30⁰C after application on BOPP film (18 – 25 micron coating) and shear more than 400 min (dry weight).

It being a low viscosity emulsion, the best coating method will be roller coating with a Mayer bar to control the coating weight. Alternately an air knife can also be used. The product can also be thickened and coated by reverse roller or comma coating method.

Handling & Storage

Store in sealed containers in dry condition at temperatures between 15-300C, away from direct heat, sunlight, dust and moisture. Protect from frost. Containers once opened should be shut tightly to prevent contamination. Stocks should be used on a first in, first out basis. Do not mix with other products without consulting us / doing your own test to determine its suitability, as it can lead to incompatibility and other related problems.
