To begin to discuss the long history of MOPAC, or Moyer Packing, must begin several hundred years ago in Pennsylvania. Located in eastern Pennsylvania, MOPAC is one of the largest renderers in the eastern United States. With more than 135 years of industry experience, our expert staff understands your grease recycling and rendered product needs. That’s why companies like yours rely on our expert service. MOPAC began as Moyer Packing– a family owned, one-man run meat packing plant in 1877. Abraham F. Moyer bought land in Souderton, Pennsylvania when the area was almost entirely made up of farm-land. When Moyer Packing began, it started in a town that had as many horses and cattle as people. As the area around MOPAC became urban and industrialized, MOPAC became increasingly popular through the twentieth century. For one hundred years MOPAC serviced the area with superior beef while also focusing on going green and giving back to the environment. They developed a rendering facility that eliminated all waste so that 100% of the product is reused.By 2000, Moyer Packing had become the ninth largest beef processor in the US and the largest in the Eastern United States. Our operations include fabricating and further processing, hide processing and a multitude of rendering facilities.

JBS-MOPAC POULTRY FAT is a blend of palatable and digestible chicken and turkey fat for a premium product that has the best protein and nutritional value possible. Beyond nutritional value, Poultry Fat has a 8,220 kcal/kg. A good source of essential fatty acids and a max of 4% free fatty acids, along with a variety of options on titer and ash content.

RENTECH (PREMIER BLENDED UCO &amp; BFT) is a unique blend of quality UCO and Bleachable Fancy Tallow products to meet to your specifications including but not limited to IV, moisture, impurities, and FFA%. It can also be blended for nutritional requirements, or blend for color, viscosity and/or caloric content.

JBS-MOPAC 65% POULTRY BY-PRODUCT MEAL has a protein value of 65%. It’s fat runs 12-15% and ash between 14-15%. It exceeds several necessary nutritional and protein requirements for animals, including pets. It’s golden color makes it an appealing looking product, but it’s smell and flavor will have animals coming back for more.

JBS-MOPAC USED COOKING OIL has high standards for IV, Moisture and FFA%, but does not meet the qualification for ISCC. It has higher color and property standards than yellow grease. This oil is 100% recycled vegetable cooking oil from traceable restaurants and grocery stores.

JBS-MOPAC BLEACHABLE FANCY TALLOW is a premier product that is derived primarily from the rendering of beef offal and is in line with all of the AFOA specifications. The product that goes into our tallow is primarily of beef offal origin. Our tallow has high palatability and helps add caloric content to most types of feeds. It is guaranteed unadulterated and 100% pentobarbital-free.

JBS-MOPAC ISCC-CERTIFIED USED COOKING OIL is a certified ingredient that can be used in an ingredient for biofuel which can be used as a credit in the European Union. This high quality oil has high standards for IV, Moisture and FFA%. This oil is 100% recycled vegetable cooking oil from traceable restaurants and grocery stores.

JBS-MOPAC ISCC-CERTIFIED USED COOKING OIL

JBS-MOPAC 50% BEEF MEAT AND BONE MEAL can be produced without any porcine elements.. All of the product in this meal is 100% unadulterated and pentobarbital free. This meal is an excellent source of calcium and phosphorus along with essential amino acid profiles.

JBS-MOPAC CHOICE WHITE GREASE is a specific grade of mostly pork fat, obtained from clean, disease free animal by-products processed under good manufacturing practices. This product defined by hardness, color, fatty acid content, moisture, insolubles, unsaponifiables, and free fatty acids.
