ITPSA Food Sugarcap

Sugarcap is a range of sweeteners that combine an optimun proportion of saccharin and neohesperidine DC (NHDC) with vanilla flavor. Neohesperidine is a high potency sweetener (about 1800 times sweeter than sugar) which enhances the sweetness of the saccharin and improves its acceptance by masking its metallic flavor and also has a more persistent action along the time. SUGARCAP increases feed intake and average daily gain due to an improvement of feed digestibility and stimulation of gastric and pancreatic secretion. It is suitable for animals in the early age during the transition period to encourage consumption of solid feed. It also reduces the incidence of diarrhea after weaning. Its application in adult animals allows masking unpleasant taste in feed that could be caused by some raw materials or application of medicaments.

Recommended dosage between 100 and 300g per ton, depending on the needs and legal requirements applicable.
