Nitride Ferro Silicon (FerSiN) is a composite obtained from the nitriding of Ferro Silicon. It has relevant thermal and mechanical characteristics. It is used as a raw material in Tap Hole in blast furnaces to obtain a material with high resistance to heat and low corrosion rate. When applied in steel it increases the mechanical and corrosion resistance and in paints it raises the thermal resistance. Available in different grades, from lump material to 325 mesh.

itaforte Hydrated Aluminas is used for special applications. Aluminum hydroxide is obtained from the purification of bauxite from the Bayer process.

High itaforte High Alumina Microspheres are produced from excellent raw materials and with strict quality control in the agglomeration and sintering processes, they present excellent resistance to impact, compression and wear. They are hard and resistant grinding bodies. It is used as load in mills of different types, having the function of comminuting, dispersing and distributing nanometric solids. The use of balls with adequate diameter promotes an increase in yield and a reduction in grinding time.

The Itaforte Aluminas Balls are produced from a differentiated production process, where there is strict control over the quality of the raw material, controlled particle size distribution and high degree of sintering for the formation of the uniform crystalline structure. The Itaforte Aluminas Balls present the least wear when compared to the competitors and others processes used, which generates a great saving for our.
