ISALTIS owns a clinical study on its benefits for the skin.Zinc gluconate can also be used in Hair Care as a dye fixative, and is particularly recommended for colored hair shampoos and conditioners.Due to its antimicrobial properties, it can also enhance microbial preservation of cosmetic formulations. As a chelate, it can also replace traditional chelating agents such as EDTA, as a more natural option.Mineralis Gu/Zn is COSMOS certified.

Copper is involved in many different enzyme systems, as a cofactor for Superoxyde Dismutase (detoxifies free radicals); as a cofactor for tyrosinase (stimulates melanin synthesis) and as an activator for lysyl oxidase in the collagen synthetic pathway. It also stimulates the cutaneous immune system.

MINERALIS® GU / FE or Ferrous Gluconate is an iron source used in cosmetics in hair products (keratin restructurer) and in skin products (skin conditioner).

Supplements containing calcium glucoheptonate are taken by individuals who are unable to get enough calcium in their regular diet or who have a need for more calcium. They are used to prevent or treat several conditions that may cause hypocalcemia (not enough calcium in the blood). The body needs calcium to make strong bones. Calcium is also needed for the heart, muscles, and nervous system to work properly.

The balance between bone resorption and deposition changes with age. In aging adults, particularly among postmenopausal women, bone breakdown exceeds formation, resulting in bone loss that increases the risk of osteoporosis over time (National Institute of Health, 2013).
