MIKROCHELAT™ Fe-6 SL

INTERMAG is the owner of 3 patents and has more than 30 years of experience in production of high quality chelates based on different types of chelating agents (EDTA, DTPA) in ultra-granular and liquid form. Chelate is a stable chemical compound in which metal cation is bound to a ligand (organic compound-chelating agent), in a form of heterocyclic ring.

Directions for Use

MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL may be used in different fertilization techniques, including fertigation, soil spraying, soil watering, scattering after mixing with other fertilizers and foliar sprays.

1. FERTIGATION (fertilizing combined with watering) of crops in inert or organic substrates, in the ground
Specific recommendations (medium composition and the frequency of application) shall take into account the nutritional requirements of plants and agronomic and climatic conditions of cultivation (including the type of substrate).
The calculations shall take into account the content of iron (Fe) in other fertilizers used to prepare the medium and in water used to prepare the medium.

  • Fertigation in inert substrates and coconut substrate, and hydroponic cultivation (medium supplied continuously or repeatedly during the day).
Most frequently recommended iron (Fe) content in a ready to use medium is 1–3 mg Fe / L (i.e. 10–40 ml of MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL in 1,000 L). When preparing concentrated solutions, the dose rate of MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL should be increased accordingly.
  • Fertigation in organic substrates and in the ground (medium supplied periodically - repeatedly during the vegetation period).
When using MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL with other fertilizers in a ready to use medium, do not exceed a total concentration of 0.2% of all ingredients (i.e. 2 L and/or kg in 1,000 L of medium).

Recommended amount of MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL in the whole growing season (in divided doses max. 2 l/ha in one cycle):

  • Pome and stone fruit trees, nuts, citrus, mango, avocado, olive trees, banana trees, palm trees, coffee, pineapple: 7–30 l/ha
  • Grapevine: 6–22 l/ha
  • Fruit shrubs, strawberry, vegetables, ornamental plants: 6–30 l/ha

2. SOIL SPRAYING, SOIL WATERING, SCATTERING after mixing with other soil fertilizers
Spray the soil with an aqueous solution of chelate before sowing or seedlings planting, or use in combination with other soil fertilizers. For fruit trees (e.g. pear tree) spray the soil after start of vegetation or in other recommended period. Spray (large volume spray) the soil on cloudy and humid days or when it rains.

Recommended amount of MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL in the whole growing season:

  • Pome and stone fruit trees, nuts, citrus, mango, avocado, olive trees, banana trees, palm trees, coffee, pineapple: 7–30 l/ha
  • Grapevine: 15–30 l/ha
  • Fruit shrubs, strawberry, vegetables, ornamental plants: 6–30 l/ha

3. FOLIAR SPRAYS
MIKROCHELAT Fe-6 SL is intended for foliar application in the form of an aqueous solution.
Single dose rate 0.3–1.5 l/ha. Adapt the concentration and amount of liquid used to the requirements of individual plant species and the spraying technique. During treatment, avoid large amounts of sunlight, high temperatures and wind causing drops to drift.
At low air humidity avoid using a solution at a concentration greater than 0.1% (1 kg of fertilizer/1,000 L of water).
