Zeastat is a blend of multifunctional ingredients that allows formulators to use hurdle technology to create self-preserving formulations. As opposed to traditional methods of preservation, hurdle technology is a formulation approach whereby combinations of ingredients and other aspects of formulation are used along with good manufacturing principles. Zeastat includes caprylhydroxamic acid (CHA), a chelating agent, and medium spreading emollient that also has antimicrobial properties. Zeastat is a blend of multifunctional ingredients that allows formulators to use hurdle technology to create self-preserving formulations. As opposed to traditional methods of preservation, hurdle technology is a formulation approach whereby combinations of ingredients and other aspects of formulation are used along with good manufacturing principles. Zeastat includes caprylhydroxamic acid (CHA), a chelating agent, and medium spreading emollient that also has antimicrobial properties. Zeastat is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. However, it can interact with residual iron found in some clay-type compounds (e.g., bentonite, silicates, etc.). This interaction with iron may produce a very mild orange color or color shift that is barely perceivable to the eye in most formulations. In cases where the clays are high in iron, the colored compounds may be more perceivable.

Kerazyne™ MB is a novel polymeric conditioning additive for hair care. It reduces static charge, improves feel, and improves combability. It is a polyesteramine and has emolliency and gloss characteristics of an ester, and the cationic activity of an amine. It has novel esthetics that are unlike the feel of any polymeric conditioning agent. It is highly hydrophobic and lubricious and provides much more intensive conditioning than standard conditioning additives such as polyquaternium polymers and amodimethicone. Kerazyne MB product forms include cream conditioners and cream styling products(emulsions), as well as anhydrous products.

ClariSilk is a novel polymeric conditioning additive for hair care. It reduces static charge and improves combing and detangling effect. It improves sensorial experience during the application, such as lathering, as well as the softness and shine of clean dry hair. When combined with essential oils in a shampoo formulation, it enables the formulation of high performance silicone-free conditioning shampoos. ClariSilk is an effective additive in sulfate-free shampoos providing substantial foaming, easy rinse-off and no build-up. ClariSilk is a polyesteramine – it has emolliency and gloss characteristic of a branched ester, and the cationic activity of an amine. It has novel esthetics that are unlike the feel of any other polymeric conditioning agent. It is highly hydrophobic and lubricious. It provides much more intensive conditioning than standard conditioning additives such as polyquaternium polymers and amodimethicone. ClariSilk enables a healthy and silky hair appearance. ClariSilk can be used in clear, creamy or pearl shine shampoos, as well as conditioners. It is compatible with other conditioning agents to achieve a synergistic effect. It is a good additive to be used in leave-on hair care products, such as hair masks, hair BB creams and hair serums.

Lexgard® Natural MB is a 100% plant-based optimized preservation combination. It is an all-natural multifunctional ingredient system for preservation effects. It is composed of high purity C8 monoesters and undecylenic acid to protect formulations from microbial growth.

ProCondition™ 22 is a natural-derived sustainable conditioning. It is a non-quat, cationically charged hair conditioning agent and emulsifier. As a hair conditioning agent, it has comparable performance to behentrimonium chloride (BTAC). As a primary emulsifier, it builds formulation stability by the formation of lamellar liquid crystals.

Emulsense is a natural cationic agent suitable for hair conditioning and skin care. It is an ideal ingredient for the natural products marketplace. It is derived solely from fermentation and plant materials using sustainable green chemistry principals. Its composition is 65% active (natural cationic) and 35% fatty alcohol.

Lexate® CRC is an easy to use blend for formulating hair conditioners. It is a concentrated mixture of conditioning and emulsifying agents providing superior viscosity, stability and dry combability. This blend can be readily formulated into hair conditioners ranging from inexpensive cream rinses to premium deep conditioning products. Its vegetable-based fatty chains provide superb dry combability without build-up or greasy afterfeel. Its electrostatic attraction to hair and its anti-static performance can be tailored by adjusting formulation pH. It also  contains primary and secondary emulsifiers that build formulation viscosity.
