- Product Features
The Algae grows in the North Atlantic in extremely cold (1°C) waters and has developed mechanisms to resist harsh environments:
- Segments of the algae thicken when exposed to the mechanical action of waves, developing a stratum corneum-like structure. Dermatological benefits are epidermal integrity and improved skin barrier function.
- The alga adapts its metabolic activity when exposed to extreme cold conditions by synthesizing new molecules. Dermatological benefits are gene expression rejuvenation in aged skin cells and an increased synthesis of skin macromolecules.
It can reverse the effect of aging at the cellular level.
It can take old skin cells to make them behave like when they were young.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Epidermal Renewal, Barrier Function and Hydration
Transglutaminase-1 activity in human keratinocytes
Skin Smoothness - Visioscan®VC98
ReGENESEA™ LS stimulates transglutaminase-1 involved in the keratinization of the stratum corneum. The skin surface smoothness is rapidly and significantly improved upon applications.
Barrier Function – TEWL
Skin hydration – Corneometry
ReGENESEA™ LS improves the integrity of the skin barrier function by reducing TEWL. This translates in a significant increase in skin hydration already after 15 days that progresses up to day 60.
- Technical Data
The anti-aging clinical actions of ReGENESEA™ LS could be explained by a reinforcement of the extra- cellular matrix (collagen network) and the Dermo- Epidermal Junction (tenascin and biglycan). Such metabolic and structural positive responses will help reducing the appearance of wrinkle and im- prove the visco-elastic properties of the skin.
- Clinical Anti-Aging Efficacy
Wrinkling Density - Visioscan®VC98
Wrinkle Volume - Visioscan®VC98
Skin smoothness, wrinkling density and wrinkle volume are all significantly improved upon the topical application of ReGENESEA™ LS and clinical effects are observed already after 15 days
Visco-Elastic Properties
ReGENESEA™ LS improves the skin visco-elasticity properties as a result of a better hydration and an improved extracellular matrix integrity
Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
- 3 Years
- Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
- In original sealed containers, in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
- Cloudiness or sedimentation is normal and may be resolved by rotating the unopened drum.
- 3 years, stored unopened in original containers.
- Once opened the shelf life is limited by temperature, light and exposure to air.
